This is NOT a “forced gratitude” post 😉…
We’ve all hear all about the importance of 🄶🅁🄰🅃🄸🅃🅄🄳🄴, how transformational it can be, how it can shift one’s life, blah blah blah… Based on this very valid idea, we force ourselves to be grateful for what we have, after all, it could be worse, right?!
It doesn’t work that way! We 🄲🄰🄽🄽🄾🅃 get what we want by going into lack, by thinking “it could be worse”. In fact, we are highly unlikely to get what we want when we want it, when there is a craving, an attachment, or desperation for things to be different.
Is right now enough? What is nothing ever changes, could you 🄻🄾🅅🄴 🅈🄾🅄🅁 🄻🄸🄵🄴 as it is?
If your answer is not a heartfelt “yes!” then give yourself that which you want! Right now, today, at the very most this week. What is the feeling that is truly underneath that desire? Is it…
happiness?
freedom?
safety?
peace?
contentment?
joy?
